Nutrition is the method in which we provide the essential nutrients to the body in order to promote health. Our goal as dietitians is to optimize the health status of individuals through a balanced diet and consistency, rather than restricting and eating less. We aim to provide nutritional support that will be tailored to what each individual needs in order to optimize their health. The main goal of a clinical dietitian is to:
- Optimize the nutritional status of individuals and meet their nutritional requirements.
- Improve the life quality of individuals. Specifically, to improve energy and reduce fatigue.
- Promote a balanced diet.
- Lower the risk for chronic diseases later in life.
- Provide nutritional support in chronically ill patients.
Our services:
During our first session we evaluate the medical history (diseases, biochemical values, drugs), eating patterns and diet history of the patient. In addition, we take into consideration the personal goals and the nutritional status of the patient, and we create a personalized nutrition intervention for the client.
