For some people yoga is a way of exercise, for some others yoga is a way to relax. For some others, yoga is a way of life.

“For me, yoga is not just a workout – it’s about working on yourself.” ~ Dr Mary Glover

ActiveCare gives you the opportunity to try it and decide what yoga means for you!

Yoga means unity. Unite your body and mind through yoga.

Different sequences combining, standing, balancing postures, twists, backbends and inversions (depending on level of the group)

Group classes: Each yoga class is different, designed to fit each students’ body, fitness level, age, needs. Easier variations (options) are given to each student during each class.

  • Flexibility: with mostly standing yogasanas, backbends and other postures, a gentle stretching for the whole body
  • Strengthening: with balancing postures and slower deeper sequences, body muscles are strengthening
  • Body awareness: learn to feel, recognise and breath into each body part

”The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind & the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.” ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

  • Other benefits: Release tension, empower yourself, release negativity and be able to see the positive side of life into each situation. Reclaim your inner peace, become more patient, kind and understanding. Learn to remove ego and pride. Give more attention to what is happening within your own body, your own breath, your own life, give less attention to what is happening around you.

Through sustained focus and meditation on our patterns, habits, and conditioning, we gain knowledge and understanding of our past and how we can change the patterns that aren’t serving us to live more freely and fully.” ~ Yoga Sutra III.18
